Foundation Program

Raising  and Improving the Learner’s Linguistic Skills

The Foundation program is an English Language program aiming at raising  and improving the learner’s performance in English so that s/he can go to the academic programs and complete study in English easily.

Goals:

  1. Preparing learners linguistically to go into the academic programs and complete their study in English.

  2. Developing the different language skills of the learners to  suitable levels so that they can deal with the different areas of knowledge written in English.

  3. Communicating easily in English inside the classroom with instructors and colleagues.

  4. Referring to sources of information written in English for the purposes of research.

  5. Making presentations in English as an important requirement of higher studies.

  6. Listening well to the lecturers and taking notes.

  7. Writing exams correctly and legibly.

Placement Test | Level - 1 | Level - 2


Placement Test

Before going to the Foundation, students sit for a placement test and then they are categorized as follows:

  1. Less than 59% go to level 1

  2. From 59% to 79% go to level 2

  3. 80% and more  Pass to the academic programs.
