About the Office

The office keeps in touch and close contact with graduates and makes sure that both the college and its graduates are well
informed and updated of each other’s developments.

The office
performs job market surveys that help in developing the
college’s academic programs to, properly, cater for our
graduates’ needs to compete and have better chances and good
grounding in the Omani job market.

The office holds
job counseling and training programs to help graduates- to -be
with the necessary transferable skills needed to promote their
academic background and knowledge.
Goals

Keep in close contact with the
college’s graduates and maintain their solidarity and loyalty to the
college

Provide graduates with academic
and training continuing education program

Hold an annual “get together” day
for each batch of graduates

Produce a “graduate newsletter”
twice a year

Promote research on graduate job
support

Identify graduate’s job performance problems and the difficulties they meet throughout their
new professional careers and use that as feedback to help in promoting good strategies for developing the college’s academic programs.

Produce a Careers and Job Counseling booklet
Activities

Hold and host
practical training workshops provided in collaboration with
other institutions and companies to promote student’s
experiential knowledge

Provide Omani job market
orientation field visits

Establish collaborative
agreements and relationships with both private and public institutions

Train and develop students’
individual and personal skills such as communicative and time management
skills
