Oman Vision 2040
Oman Vision 2040 sets clear goals in the fields of education, learning, scientific research, and the capabilities of citizens in the Sultanate, as it seeks to achieve a high-quality educational system and effective community partnership, in addition to an integrated and independent system for the governance and evaluation of the educational system according to national and international standards.
It also aims to develop educational curricula that promote values that take into account Islamic principles and Omani identity, are inspired by Oman’s history and heritage, meet the requirements of sustainable development and future skills, and support the diversity of educational paths.
The vision also includes establishing a system that supports human capacity in education, an effective national system for scientific research and innovation that contributes to building a knowledge economy and society, providing diverse and sustainable sources of funding for education and research, and developing national competencies with dynamic skills capable of competing locally and globally.
