About Student Activities

The specialists in the department work to expand the base of students interested in participating in student activities because of their greatest impact in expanding the student’s perceptions in a scientific way and refining general skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership, through which talents and energies are discovered and invested by preparing an annual work plan that integrates students into university life through facilities equipped with the center of various student activities between sports, cultural and recreational facilities to serve the vision and mission of the college.

Student Clubs and Groups

Media Group

The Media Group is a student group under the supervision of the Student Activities Section and works to implement a plan for activities and events that help develop the skills of the group’s members (presenting, writing a press release, and interviewing journalists).

Theatre and Literature Group

The theater group is a student group under the supervision of the Student Activities Department and works to implement a plan for activities and events that help develop the skills of the group’s members and present (plays – short performances).

Aoun’s Group

A voluntary student group under the supervision of the Student Guidance Department, which works to implement a plan of activities and events that help develop the skills of voluntary work within the campus for the members of the group.

Debate Club

The Debate Group is a student group under the supervision of the Student Activities Department and works to implement a plan of activities and events that help develop the skills of the group’s members in terms of persuasion, general information and debate rules.

Poetry and Literature Group “Rhyme”

The Literature Group is a student group under the supervision of the General Requirements Unit and works to implement a plan of activities and events that help develop the skills of its members (literary writing, reading and reading, etc.)

Ranger Clans

As a student group under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, it works to provide an environment that motivates students to participate and contribute in voluntary activities that benefit the community and provide various social services, and achieves the mission adopted by the department by contributing to the service of the university community and the local community and educating young people on seriousness and sincere work in accordance with Islamic values in preparing leadership figures that contribute to building and raising the nation under the umbrella of the General Directorate of Scouts and Guides.

Fine Arts Group

The Plastic Arts Group as a student group under the supervision of the Student Activities Department and works to implement a plan for activities and events that help develop the skills of the group’s members in various plastic arts (drawing, photography, sculpture, handicrafts, etc..).

Sport Teams

Sports teams are student groups under the supervision of the Student Activities Department and work on planning and implementing a plan for activities and events that help develop the skills of team members (football, volleyball, table tennis, billiards, fitness and bodybuilding, etc.)

English Club

The group works under the supervision of the English Department and plans and implements extracurricular activities and events that develop language skills in the context of the department’s educational goals.

Legal Clinic

The Legal Clinic operates under the supervision of the Law Program and works to plan and implement extracurricular activities and events that develop legal skills.

Business Management Club

The group operates under the supervision of the Department of Business Administration and works to plan and implement extracurricular activities and events that develop management skills, entrepreneurship, marketing, etc.

Information Technology Club

The group works under the supervision of the IT department and plans and implements extracurricular activities and events that develop IT skills.

Foundation Program Club

The group works under the supervision of the Foundation Program Unit and works to plan and implement extracurricular activities and events that develop language skills and integrate new students into university life.

Culture and Creativity Community

The group works under the supervision of the General Requirements Unit and works to plan and implement extracurricular activities and events that develop a sense of patriotism and community service.

Alumni Club

The club works under the supervision of the Career Guidance and Alumni Follow-up Department and implements a plan that works to connect alumni with the college, hone their skills, and maintain a bridge of communication with them.

International Student Club

The club works under the supervision of the Department of International Student Affairs and implements a plan that works to integrate international students into the Omani society in general and the college community in particular and communicate with them continuously.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group

The group works under the supervision of the business incubator and works to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and encourage innovation.
