Program Goals

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) program is an approved academic program from MOHE Oman and is aligned with Oman Vision 2040. It is also affiliated academically with California State University, Northridge, USA. This program provides and equips students with all the knowledge and skills required to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems.

The AI program is designed to promote critical thinking, problem solving skills, teamwork spirit, oral and written communication, and ethical decision making.

Graduates of this program can purse their further studies at the level of Master in Artificial Intelligence or related fields at local or international institutions.

Program Objectives

1. Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of artificial intelligence, robotics, and mathematics appropriate to the discipline.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of computing practices in the industry and emerging technologies related to artificial intelligence.
3. Design and develop machine learning systems and software using best practices and patterns.
4. Improve their professional skills and knowledge to stay current in artificial intelligence and related fields.
5. Collaborate effectively with others in teams.
6. Exhibit awareness of social and work ethics.
7. Communicate proficiently in general and specific contexts related to the discipline.
