The Industry Advisory Board convened under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, with the membership of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, heads of academic departments, and a select group of experts and specialists in the various fields and disciplines offered by the college.
During the meeting, the draft of the college’s strategic plan was reviewed and discussed. Board members provided their feedback and suggestions aimed at aligning the college’s strategic objectives with the needs of the labor market.
The board also discussed the training opportunities available to the college’s students and the mechanisms for linking academic programs and research plans with the needs of the industrial sector. This comes as part of efforts to strengthen the integration between education and practical application and develop students’ skills needed for the labor market.
