Innovation Day Events
Al Buraimi University College, through the Scientific Research and Innovation Unit, organized the Innovation Day event under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the College’s Board of Directors.
The Innovation Day activities witnessed a distinguished hosting of the creative innovator, Professor Somaya bin Saeed Al-Siyabiya, who won first place in the 14th Stars of Science Program for her innovation in the environmental field: “Bio-analysis of microplastics in a new way of biological and nanotechnology.” Where Ms. Somaya presented her experience with innovation and her success story in this field, and the Innovation Day witnessed an interactive exhibition that included many innovations submitted by students of Al Buraimi University College, Al Buraimi University, the Vocational College and the Innovation Center in the General Directorate of Education in Al Buraimi Governorate, as well as innovations submitted by some schools in the governorate.
The Innovation Day ceremony included honoring the innovator, Professor Sumaya bin Saeed Al-Siyabiya, by Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the College’s Board of Directors, for winning the Stars of Science Award and for her participation in the College’s Innovation Day event.
