Cyber Security Program

Program Goals

The Cyber Security program is an approved academic program from MOHE Oman and is aligned with Oman Vision 2040. It is also affiliated academically with California State University, Northridge, USA.  This program provides and equips students with all the knowledge and skills required to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems.

The CS program is designed to promote critical thinking, problem solving skills, teamwork spirit, oral and written communication, and ethical decision making.

Graduates of this program can purse their further studies at the level of Master in Cyber Security or related fields at local or international institutions.

  1. Master cyber security principles, including cryptography and relevant mathematics.
  2. Analyze and respond to cyber threats within organizational settings.
  3. Design tailored cyber security architectures for organizations.
  4. Develop and implement cyber security plans to mitigate risks.
  5. Collaborate effectively in teams to tackle cyber security challenges.
  6. Demonstrate ethical awareness and professionalism in cyber security.
  7. Communicate proficiently in cyber security contexts, using industry-standard language.
